The Animal House - Ready To
Receive
Featuring former members of Ride,
The Animal House have launched themselves on to the music scene with
much attention and interest. This first album seems to be a very mixed affair
with some excellent tracks such as the singles Small and Animal
to some not so cool ones like Animal House which seems to be
some crap homage to The Beatles. Highs and Lows is what can be expected.

18th Emergency - Therapution
Second release from Kent's
very own 18th Emergency. Nothing to complain here. From start to
beginning Therapution is a brilliant range of punk rock / metal tunes.
Highlights can be seen in the songs Solution, 5th Wheel, and
Answer. Self promoted under their own Label Headcase Records,
18th Emergency prove that music can still be good without being corporate.
It deserves a place in anyone's record collection. Buy, Buy, Buy!

One Day Elliott - You must
have seen the movie
First release from Maidstone's very own punk quartet. Fun is the
attitude running through this gathering of pop punk songs. Paul Richard's
sings his heart out over his various teenage angst's which seem to be troubling
his day to day routine. Highlights are the excellent Henry's Cat
and Barrie. Production leaves a little to be desired but that all
seems to be in keeping with the punk rock attitude. Currently touring with
18th Emergency on the Fat Little Indian Tour.
