Next we see the excellent One Day Elliott. Paul and his crew of punk rock unsung hero's know exactly what buttons to push to get the audience going. They bounce around as if some one had just lit fire crackers up their rectums. The songs are not bad either. Particular stand out tracks include Barrie, Susan read my diary and Henry's Cat. The audience seemed to like it too and I felt it hard to understand why they get a bit of a bad press from the local Maidstone music scene. All I can think is that the locals are just not paying enough attention to what this band are all about. But if you are reading this I feel that One Day Elliott are worth checking out. | ||||||||||||||||

Finally it's 18th Emergency. Following the successful release of their latest release Therapution on Headcase Records this band are working their tits off to promote it. The act is excellent as Phil and the gang can't keep their feet on the ground through out the performance. It's amazing these guys don't suffer from ceiling headaches. But the band aren't bothered about such issues as they whizz through their set of polished punk/metal tunes. Tracks such as Solution, 5th Wheel and Answer demonstrate a confidence when it comes to song writing. They pull it all off with such ease and it seems hard to understand why this band are still not signed to a major record label yet. You can hear some of the music from these bands in our music section so please go and check them out. |
